If you’re a beach lover, you know how amazing it feels to stroll over the warm sand, soak up the sun, and take a dip in the ocean. However, once the day is over and it’s time to leave, you often face the daunting task of cleaning sand off everything. But worry not, Carl’s Van Rentals has three tips and tricks to help you leave the sand where it belongs – at the beach and out of your van rental!
1. Bring a Trash Bag
The easiest way to keep the sand out of your van rental is to stop it from getting there in the first place. Before heading out to the beach, take a big trash bag with you. It’s a great place to put your sandy items – like beach toys, towels, and clothes. Once you’ve collected your sandy gear, you can shake the sand out of the bag before loading it in the van.
2. Use Baby Powder or Cornstarch
Baby powder or cornstarch works great to remove sand from your feet and skin. Simply sprinkle some powder on the sand-stuck parts of your body, and the sand will easily brush off. Plus, it’ll leave you with a nice fragrance too. This hack also works well with your wet swimsuits.
3. Park Near Public Showers
One of the best ways to avoid carrying sand into your van rental is to wash it off before getting in. Consider looking for a beach with showers or sprinklers near the parking area. You can rinse off the sand from your feet and other sandy items before loading them into the van. Remember, the more sand you can keep out of your vehicle, the cleaner it will be.
Keep the Sand at Bay in Your Rental
Beach vacations are always fun, but keeping the sand at bay can be a challenge. Remember, the more preparations you make before heading out to the beach, the easier it will be to keep the sand out of your van rental. Want to worry less and have more fun?
